Returns to Dortmund

Campbell will return to parent club Borussia Dortmund after Hoffenheim decided not to exercise their purchase option following his six-month loan spell, the club announced.

Analysis: Campbell joined in January but made minimal impact during his time in the Kraichgau, managing just 16 minutes of Bundesliga action off the bench across the second half of the season. Hoffenheim thanked Campbell for his efforts during the loan period and wished him well for the next chapter of his career, with the young attacker now heading back to Dortmund where his future will be determined ahead of the 2026/27 season.
