Van Den Bosch has joined Union Berlin from Royal Antwerp, with the 22-year-old Belgian center-back making the step up to the Bundesliga after establishing himself as one of the most consistent defenders in the Belgian Pro League, according to his new club.

Analysis: Van Den Bosch made 140 competitive appearances for Antwerp including Champions League outings against Barcelona, Shakhtar Donetsk and Porto, winning both the Belgian title and the domestic cup in 2022/23 and being voted the club's player of the season by fans the following year. This season he played every single minute available for Antwerp, winning 56 percent of his duels and completing 80 percent of his passes while accumulating more minutes than any other outfield player at the club.
