Analysis: Shankland failed to cause any major threat to Haiti, who managed to hold the Scots to a 1-0 victory despite a first-half goal from John McGinn. The striker was ready to prove himself on the world stage after an exceptional season for Hearts, scoring 16 goals as they narrowly missed out on the title. Shankland took two shots against the Caribbean side and failed to put any shots on target. He tried to press from the front but only won one of his four attempted tackles and conceded four fouls.
